Wolf Man Opening Weekend Box Office Odds

The Universal Monsters movies return this weekend with Wolf Man, a reboot of 1941’s The Wolf Man. The werewolf movie starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner should top the box office in its opening weekend. How much money will it actually make? Below are the Wolf Man’s opening weekend box office odds.

What Is Wolf Man About?

After inheriting his childhood home in Oregon, Blake (Christopher Abbott) convinces his wife Charlotte (Julia Garner) and daughter Ginger (Matilda Firth) to make the trek from San Francisco to Oregon to visit the house.

While driving at night, a mysterious creature attacks the family and wounds Blake. The family manages to escape and find shelter inside the home. However, the danger might be inside their home, as Blake quickly transitions into a monstrous creature.

Wolf Man’s ensemble includes Sam Jaeger, Ben Prendergast, Benedict Hardie, Zac Chandler, Beatriz Romilly, and Milo Cawthorne.

Leigh Whannell (Saw, The Invisible Man) directs Wolf Man from a screenplay he co-wrote with Corbett Tuck. Wolf Man opened to mixed reviews, 59% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 49 on Metacritic.

Will the Blumhouse horror scare its way to the top of the box office?

Per Polymarket, Wolf Man is expected to open in the high teens for a 3-day weekend. Being that it’s a holiday weekend, Wolf Man‘s four-day total should be above $20 million (The Wrap).

This would be the highest opening for Blumhouse since 2023.
