Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is getting another demo before launch

If you’re one of the many looking forward to more Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, there’s good news – another demo will release soon, and all save data will transfer to the main game.

On Saturday, developer Team Ninja announced that the second demo for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will launch on Feb. 24, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC – specifically Steam and Microsoft’s storefront for that last one. Quite a step up from the previous demo, which wasn’t on PC at all.

Best of all, any progress you make in the demo will carry over to the full release. So there’ll be no need to replay sections once Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a hardcore action RPG similar to Elden Ring or Dark Souls. Though a more apt comparison would be to Nioh, the series Team Ninja made before this. Unlike that franchise, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty takes place in China around 184 AD, while the Han dynasty was in power.

Team Ninja has numerous other projects allegedly in the works, such as the long-rumored Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive reboots. There’s also the wildly anticipated action RPG Rise of the Ronin.
