WizzAir launch 'all you can fly' pass – but what is the catch?

Wizz Air has launched an flight subscription service that lets passengers jet wherever they want for just £428 (€499) for the whole year.

The Wizz All You Can Fly pass allows jetsetters limitless flights over a 12-month period across Wizz Air's eligible routes and is the first scheme of its kind in Europe.

Wizz Air says people can “explore without bounds” by snapping up the deal by this Friday, August 16.

The usual annual price is £511 but, if you buy by Friday, you can secure your year of adventures for £425.

Once they have their pass, members are then able to reserve last-minute seats but the only catch is that people will only be able to book a flight up to three days before take-off.

The idea comes just months after consumer watchdog Which? rated it the UK’s least favourite airline in 2024.

The All You Can Fly membership includes basic baggage allowance for one personal item, adhering to maximum dimensions, but should you wish to bring extra, you will have to book additional luggage options at the point of booking.

The scheme will start from September 25, 2024, but availability is limited, with just 10,000 memberships up for grabs.

On the site it says: "Once you have successfully paid for WIZZ All You Can Fly, you can start booking your flights right away.

"Keep in mind that Wizz Air has a special introductory period where customers can purchase the membership on an introductory fee, and the booking process begins in September."

Silvia Mosquera, of Wizz Air, said: "We are thrilled to be the first to introduce this one-of-a-kind membership for travellers in Europe.

"The membership will give customers hundreds of spontaneous travel options for a fixed price, giving them freedom to fly whenever is convenient without paying extra."
