Police are looking to speak to a man who helped a paramedic treating a Download festival-goer. Medical staff at the Castle Donington festival came to the aid of a man in his 30s, who had become unwell, at around 9.28pm on Saturday, June 11.
The man was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead on Saturday evening. The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained while officers carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
From these enquiries, it is understood that when medical staff were attending to the ill man, another man spoke to a paramedic providing information. He has been described as white and aged between 40 and 50-years-old.

Officers are appealing to speak to this man as a witness to assist with enquiries. The man is not suspected of any wrongdoing.
Detective Inspector Rob Arthur, of Leicestershire Police, said: “If you were this person please make contact with us. I must stress you are not in any trouble. We simply want to speak with you as a witness as you may be able to help us with our enquiries to establish the full circumstances regarding what has happened.
