Witness appeal after man seen masturbating onboard Edinburgh train

A witness appeal has been launched after a male was seen masturbating onboard a train travelling from Edinburgh to Glasgow.

The incident happened on a service from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street on Tuesday, July 19, around 7pm.

The man was seen carrying out the lewd act as the train travelled between Polmont and Falkirk High stations.

British Transport Police (BTP) took to Twitter to ask anyone who was travelling on the train at the time and who may have seen the man to make contact with them.

BTP tweeted: "Were you travelling on a train between Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Queen Street on 19 July at around 7pm? A man was seen masturbating as the train travelled between Polmont and Falkirk High.

"See him? Please get in touch with us by texting 61016 quoting ref 560 of 19/07/22."
