With Amazon Prime Day deals on fire, this tablet device is selling at a ridiculously low price

Amazon Prime Day is just over a week away and the early deals are already starting to stack up.

Amazon is teasing the Oct. 10 and 11 discount days with the Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet moving from $100 to $60 for the event. Simultaneously, the Amazon Fire HD Plus price is knocked down to $70, and the Amazon Fire Max 11 is hitting the market at $150.

Meanwhile, older Amazon Fire models like the HD 10 and the Fire 7 are seeing prices slide down to $75 and $40, respectively, for a price decline of 50% and 33% on each model.

Amazon is taking some liberties with the new Fire tablet deals. For instance, the deal is good for Amazon Prime and non-Prime members, which could raise some shackles with club members who pay $14.99 monthly or a one-time yearly cost of $139 for their memberships.

Other early Prime Day deals available right now include Apple Air Pods Pro (second generation) wireless air buds for $199, for a 20% price cut, and Blink Outdoor 4 3-Camera System for $135. That’s a 50% price cut right now on Amazon.com.

Meanwhile, New Balance running shoes are on sale for 55% off and women’s handbags, purses and wallets are selling up to 76% off in advance of Prime Day.

But it’s the Amazon Fire tablet prices that stand out a week ahead of Oct. 10.

For example, the Amazon Fire 8 comes with a choice of digital storage capacity of 32 GB or 64 GB. Users can also opt for “with” or “without” lock screen advertisements and choose from among three colors (black, blue, and pink).

More Retail:

Amazon also says it’s boosted performance on the model with an updated hexacore processor that increases usage speeds by 30% of previous Fire HD tablets. The HD 8 also comes with a battery power life of 13 hours and comes with a new “thinner and lighter design” compared to previous generations.

Amazon Prime shoppers do get to access early Prime Day shopping with the lights going on at 3 a.m. on Oct. 10. Prime members are getting a promise that Amazon will “make it easier for Prime members to find deals they’re interested in with personalized recommendations based on past purchases, browsing history, and items saved to their lists.”

Amazon is also offering free trials for non-members at amazon.com/primebigdealdays.
