A Newmains woman claims that she has not received any parcels from Hermes for more than a month, after she had an "altercation" with a delivery driver.
Rosanne Bryson says she relies on home deliveries from couriers because she suffers from chronic pain and is unable to leave the house for long periods of time.
Ms Bryson claims she had an altercation with a courier after he was three days late in picking up a return. She says that, when she complained, the driver "challenged" her.
Since this alleged incident, Ms Bryson says that parcels that should be delivered by Hermes are being returned to the sender.
She told Lanarkshire Live: "I wanted to return a parcel for my son and it said that it would be picked up on Monday.
"The courier didn't come to get the parcel until Thursday, so I asked him why that was.
"He got angry and challenged me. Since this altercation, I haven't received any parcels from Hermes.
"I suffer from chronic pain so rely on parcels to be delivered to my house. This is a terrible situation."
Ms Bryson says she is finding it very difficult to contact Hermes about the ongoing issue, blaming the company's automated phone numbers and online live chats.
She continued: "I was constantly met with robots when I was trying to get in touch.
"I just wanted to know what was happening with my parcels. They were all being sent back to where they came from and I had no answers.
"I think a big company like Hermes should at least have a phone number where you are able to talk to someone."
A spokesperson for Hermes told Lanarkshire Live: "We have previously investigated these allegations and do not believe them to be accurate.
"The safety of our couriers is paramount and we have a zero-tolerance policy of any abuse towards them. We will provide alternative delivery solutions including delivery to a neighbour or a local ParcelShop."
