A caring Wishaw mum-of-four is this week's Say It With Flowers recipient.
Emma Lyttle, who is mum to Laura, Ashley, Brian and Gary, as well as a devoted gran to Connie and Sonny, was nominated by her loving daughter Laura.
Laura told Lanarkshire Live: “My mum is an amazing woman. She has raised me and my twin sister Ashley alone.
“Me and my sister both work and she looks after my dog Chester and her grandchildren Connie and Sonny.
“She does everything for everybody and I wanted her to know how appreciated she really is.
“My sister Ashley lives with her and I stay across the road from my mum.
“She is retired now but she is always on the go.
“I work as a support worker and she looks after my dog when I’m at work.”
And when Laura told us about her amazing mum, we were only too pleased to help, surprising her with a stunning floral arrangement, courtesy of our friends at Pixies Petals in Newmains.
Laura told us: “She goes above and beyond on a daily basis for both my sister and I and our brothers.
“And does her bit for the community and looks out for her friends and their elderly.
“She never takes a minute to herself and is always on the go.”
