A Wishaw local has said that opening her own cafè is a lifelong dream.
Tiegan Jones opened Cafè Boujee on Wishaw Main Street on Monday, July 13.
The cafe is in the same location as The Avenue, which closed down earlier this year.
Tiegan has worked in catering with her family since she was just a girl and has always dreamed of having her own place.
She told Lanarkshire Live: "I have always wanted a cafè, but I could never find the right place to open one.
"When I saw The Avenue was closing down I messaged straight away and asked about taking over the unit.
"It is the perfect location right on Wishaw Main Street and there is lots of footfall and parking is nearby too."
After opening on Monday, Tiegan said that she has been busy and has been full every day.
Offering the usual selection of cafè goods such as paninis, breakfasts and cakes, there are also special offers.
She said: "I want the menu to be my own and be unique.
"I am offering specials and will be changing them around and there is a lunch deal on too which is two courses for £10.
"I have employed my mum as the chef. She has 25 years' experience in the industry and is fantastic.
"And we have a partnership with Thomsons Coffee in Glasgow who have been roasting since 1841.
"Deliveries will soon be possible too, so keep an eye on our website for that.
"It has been a hectic time preparing but I am so glad that it is all sorted and up and running now."
Cafè Boujee is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday.
You can find details on the cafe on their Facebook page.
