Despite their belief in Harris's ability to defeat former President Trump, the voters lamented the lack of internal debate within the party.
Another voter highlighted the missed opportunity for the Democratic Party to engage in a more democratic primary process, stating that while Harris may succeed, the party would have benefited from more time for internal discussions and decision-making.
A third voter expressed a desire for more information about Harris but acknowledged that given the current circumstances, supporting her may be the best option for the party. A female voter criticized the lack of transparency in the decision-making process, emphasizing the importance of including party members in such critical decisions.
Biden announced his decision to drop out of the race on Sunday and endorsed Harris shortly afterward. Harris confirmed her intention to seek the Democratic nomination, expressing gratitude for the President's endorsement and pledging to earn and win the nomination.
Following Biden's announcement, multiple Democrats have endorsed Harris for president, making her the presumptive nominee as the Democratic National Convention approaches next month.
