A Wisconsin man has been formally charged with the murder and dismemberment of a missing 19-year-old woman, as announced by officials in Milwaukee County. Maxwell Anderson, 33, of Milwaukee, has been charged with three felonies related to the killing of Sade Robinson. The criminal complaint filed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office alleges that Anderson intentionally killed Robinson, mutilated her remains, and attempted to conceal evidence by setting fire to her car.
Partial human remains found in Warnimont Park in Cudahy, Wisconsin, were identified through DNA testing as belonging to Robinson. Further investigation led to the discovery of additional remains in Milwaukee and the identification of Anderson as a suspect. Phone records and other evidence indicated that Anderson had contact with Robinson and had dinner with her the night before the first set of remains were found.
Authorities noted that not all of Robinson's remains have been located. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Services Bureau, along with the Milwaukee Police Department, have been working tirelessly to solve the case since the initial discovery of remains in Warnimont Park.
Less than a week after the first discovery, additional human remains were found at three other locations in Milwaukee County. While it is not confirmed if these remains are connected to Robinson's case, Sheriff Denita Ball stated that there is currently no evidence of other victims.
Anderson has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. During a court appearance, his bail was set at $5 million. Community members are actively searching for the remaining parts of Robinson's body in hopes of providing closure to her family.
Chief Jeffrey Norman expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies and extended sympathy to Robinson's family and loved ones. The tragic events surrounding Robinson's death have deeply impacted the community, prompting a collective effort to seek justice and bring solace to those affected.
