An audit of the November election in Wisconsin, won by President Donald Trump, has revealed that not a single vote was counted incorrectly, altered, or missed by tabulating machines. The audit, released by the Wisconsin Elections Commission, also found no evidence of hacking or tampering with any voting machines or software.
President Trump secured victory in Wisconsin by a margin of over 29,000 votes, defeating former Vice President Kamala Harris. This audit comes in the wake of allegations of widespread fraud in the 2020 election, which were not substantiated despite multiple recounts, reviews, and lawsuits.
The audit, a requirement under state law since 2006, involved hand-counting 327,230 ballots from 336 randomly selected municipalities across the state. This comprehensive audit, the largest ever conducted in Wisconsin, aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness and security of electronic voting systems.
Notably, the audit revealed that the only errors detected were human errors, with just five mistakes identified out of the hundreds of thousands of ballots counted. This minuscule error rate of 0.0000009% underscores the accuracy and reliability of the vote-counting machines.
