Birkenhead’s Hamilton Square is set to be taken over next week as the OVO Energy Tour Series heads to Wirral - and road closures will be in place.
The OVO Energy Tour Series will see elite riders from across the UK head to Birkenhead to compete in Britain’s leading televised cycle race series.
There are several races taking place throughout the day on Tuesday, May 21, with activities starting from 11:30am.
During the event, a range of Wirral roads are set to be closed.

There are no Mersey Tunnel closures planned for this event.
Tour Series parking
Due to the event, all existing parking and loading restrictions will be temporarily suspended on all roads above from 6:30pm on Monday, May 20 until 11:59pm on Tuesday, May 21.
Temporary parking restrictions will be in operation to prevent parking along the event route.
Vehicles parked in breach of the restrictions or causing an obstruction will be subject to enforcement.
