Wirral Magistrates' Court has been forced to close due to a "building issue".
The court on Chester Street in Bikenhead has been temporarily closed today, Thursday, April 21. A spokesperson for HM Courts and Tribunal Service said on Twitter this was due to a "building issue", however it is unclear what this entails.
The court said it was contacting all affected parties and "urgent work" was being relocated to alternative court sites. People who need to get in touch with the Magistrates' Court are asked to call 0151 473 7373.

A spokesperson for HM Courts and Tribunal Service said on Twitter: "Wirral Magistrates' Court will be temporarily closed tomorrow (Thursday, April 21, 2022) due to a building issue. We are contacting affected parties and urgent work is being relocated to alternative sites. For urgent enquiries, call: 0151 473 7373."
