A Wirral farm has made a desperate appeal for fruit and veg to be able to feed its animals.
The owner of Alpaca Park Farm in Prenton, Wirral has made the appeal for donations as their supply is running low. A post on the farm's Facebook page said: "Good morning! We are desperately in need of fruit and veg to feed the animals, we have some but it is running low.
"We have a brown bin at the back entrance off prenton dell Road, where the entrance to the rugby club is straight on the left as you come off prenton dell Road.

"If anyone has any surplus fruit and veg, or any contacts with restaurants/ shops etc that would be able to help with this please please help us!"
Facebook users commented on the post and said: "There’s a lovely man gives me loads for my ponies, I’ve got more than enough now so can ask him if he’s any more as he had tons the last time I was there."
Another said: "Coop in Upton would like to help a staff member of mine has let me know you need help, we will drop some fruit and veg off once a week in the bin for you."
