The scenes of bedlam on the terraces at the Racecourse Ground on Easter Monday spilled over into the dressing room, the stadium's corridors and, almost certainly, into the city of Wrexham itself.
What was billed as a promotion six-pointer between Wrexham and Notts County, the National League's top two sides, on Monday afternoon certainly lived it to its billing, with the Welsh club emerging 3-2 victors in the most dramatic fashion.
Having come from a goal down to lead the match 3-2 in stoppage time, Eoghan O'Connell was penalised for hand ball and the bubble looked certain to be burst.

However, up stepped Ben Foster, the goalkeeper Wrexham signed on a free this month owing to an injury to Rob Lainton, to save the day.
County's Cedwyn Scott stepped up and struck his penalty well, but Foster was equal to it and palmed it away strongly, prompting wonderful scenes of euphoria at the Racecourse in front of co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
And Reynolds was clearly giddy with excitement after the match, which put his club three points ahead of closest rivals Notts County, with a game in hand and now only four left to play, as he made a beeline for Foster in the corridor after the match.
"It doesn't get any better, does it?!" an excited Foster, 40, said to Reynolds.
The Hollywood A-lister pushed his goalkeeper away and replied: "You son of a b****! What was that about?! You're too old for that!
"What the f***? That was just... bananas! That was the most dramatic thing I've ever seen in my life."
An equally-excitable Foster, who has played for the likes of Manchester United, England, Birmingham City, West Brom and Watford, said: "Five-hundred games I've played, I've never felt that way before."
Reynolds replied: "I couldn't watch - and then I turned just in time to watch you (save it). Oh my god. You've sent them all home!
"I am... I will never be the same again!"
The pair ended the encounter with a warm embrace before Foster scurried off to do his media duties with BT Sport, who televised the game.

Speaking to BT after the game, Foster said: "We took 4,500 fans to Halifax last week and put on an awful performance and we needed something big. That was incredible.
"You just dive and hope for the best. If you go the right way and you get a hand on it, you'd like to think you'll save it. To go in 1-0 down at half-time we were a little despondent, but second half the boys were incredible.
"It's almost a shambles that only two teams get promoted from this league. We're far and away the best two teams. They need to look at that. But fair play to Notts County. That's as good a game I've played in. Hopefully the neutrals enjoyed it too."
Wrexham's final four games sees them take on Barnet, Yeovil Town, Boreham Wood and Torquay United.
