Asus ZenBook UX330UA 13-Inch Laptop
Street Price: $750; Deal Price: $700
Down to $700, this is one of the first notable drops we’ve seen on this laptop, recommended in our laptop guide for students but capable enough to do double duty as a business-oriented machine. This model comes with an 8th gen Intel i5-8250U Processor, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB M.2 SSD, which should be more than sufficient for day to day use if you aren’t doing heavier graphical work. As this laptop has historically been $750, this is a good price for it.
The Asus ZenBook UX330UA is our top pick in our guide to the best laptops for students. Justin Krajeski wrote, “The ZenBook is also amazingly well-made for the price, with a powerful processor, a 1920×1080 display, and a decent webcam—we recommend the UX330UA-AH54 configuration with an Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8 GB of memory, and a 256 GB solid-state drive. But its trackpad can occasionally be unreliable, and and it’s about an inch wider and deeper than other premium ultrabooks. It also lacks a fast, versatile Thunderbolt 3 port, which will become more useful over the next few years as more accessories support the standard. But for around $750, it’s the best option for college students.”

Dell UltraSharp U2415 24-Inch Monitor
Street Price: $250; Deal Price: $200 w/ code EMCPUEX58
If you’re in the market for a 24-inch monitor, this is a nice opportunity to save a little on the Dell UltraSharp U2415. Usually between $230 and $250, this monitor is down to $200 when you apply code EMCPUEX58 in cart. This matches the low price we’ve seen for this monitor. Available thru 5/24 or while supplies last.
The Dell UltraSharp U2415 24-Inch Monitor is our top pick in our guide to the best 24-inch monitor. Justin Krajeski and David Murphy wrote, “After spending 35 hours researching 50 monitors and testing seven finalists, we found that the Dell UltraSharp U2415 is the best option for most people. It’s a lot bigger than even the largest laptop screen but takes up less room than a 27-inch monitor. The U2415’s factory-calibrated IPS screen is one of the most color-accurate models we tested—the only monitors we tested with better picture quality cost a lot more, and you wouldn’t notice the difference in daily use. The combination of the U2415’s excellent screen, price, ports, and design make it the best 24-inch monitor you can get.”

Simplehuman Rectangular Step Trash Can
Street Price: $100; Deal Price: $80
If you’re looking to bring both form and function to your kitchen, this Simplehuman rectangular step can, usually $100, is back down to $80. While all Simplehuman gear comes at a premium, the convenience and ease of use this rectangular step trash can offers makes it worthwhile over time, especially when you’re saving $20 on the front end. Only the stainless with black plastic trim is presently on sale.
The Simplehuman Rectangular Step Trash Can is our top pick in our guide to the best kitchen trash can. Kevin Purdy wrote, “The Simplehuman Rectangular Step Trash Can does the best job of securely fitting standard kitchen trash bags, holding onto them when they get heavy, and offering them up for removal. You’re going to do this job a lot, and a lot of things can go terribly wrong; it’s important that a can help you get this right, week after week. Beyond that, the Simplehuman’s pedal is smoother and firmer than any other we’ve tested. The removable bucket is far less complicated to clean than one-piece cans. This can is actually airtight, an uncommon thing among kitchen trash cans, which prevents odors from getting out and insects from getting in. It sits sturdy enough and the lid locks securely enough to keep out the curious dogs in our test. It is wide and square enough to accept scraps directly from a cutting board or large bowl and can stay open for longer clean-up jobs. The exterior looks as nice and dignified as any garbage container can hope to, and quickly cleans up from stains. The pedal has a five-year warranty, and replacement parts, a rarity for trash cans, are readily available.”

Netgear Arlo Pro 2 Camera Security System
Street Price: $450; Deal Price: $387
The Netgear Arlo Pro 2 offers entirely wireless use with a removable battery that should last you a few months a charge, a feature that makes it stand out from much of the home outdoor security camera crowd. At $387, this 2-camera kit with base station is nicely discounted from the usual $450 price. Additional cameras can be added later as needed as they’re sold individually.
The Netgear Arlo Pro 2 is our truly wireless pick in our guide to the best outdoor security camera. Rachel Cericola wrote, “Netgear’s Arlo Pro 2 is an easy-to-use outdoor Wi-Fi camera that’s compact and can be used hardwired or completely wirelessly—the latter thanks to a removable, rechargeable battery that, based on our testing, should provide at least a couple of months of operation on a charge (or much more in quiet-traffic areas). It’s also the only cord-free 1080p camera on our list that offers seven days of free cloud storage (with more available for a monthly fee). However, going completely wire-free does mean that the camera is prone to sensor resets, which Netgear says will allow the camera to properly detect motion and not get stuck recording on a loop. It also conserves battery life, but may leave you with recording gaps during important security events. If home security is your primary concern, the Netgear Arlo Pro 2 is not for you, but it’s great for checking in on family or pets or capturing the raccoon that’s been knocking over your trash can.”

Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD Battery Pack and Charger
Street Price: $110; Deal Price: $80 w/ code ANKERPD3
The Anker Powercore+ 26800 offers a little something extra for travelers and those who work on the go, the capacity to charge USB-C laptops in addition to phones and other USB-C devices, a rarity in current battery packs. Use code ANKERPD3 at checkout from Amazon to drop the price of this battery pack to $80 from a street price of $110. At $80, this is within just a few dollars of the lowest price we’ve seen for it. The coupon code is good through June 1 or while stock lasts.
The Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD Battery Pack and Charger is our upgrade pick in our guide to the best USB-C battery packs and power banks. Mark Smirniotis wrote, “If you want to charge a USB-C–powered laptop away from a power outlet, the Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD Battery Pack and Charger Bundle is the best way to do that. This battery pack can provide more power, for longer, than our smaller mobile-device pick, extending the battery life on USB-C laptops such as the most recent MacBook Pro models, and the Dell XPS 13. The Power Delivery (PD) standard delivers twice as much power as standard USB-C outlets—at least 30 W instead of just 15 W—but twice the power comes at around four times the price at this writing, so it’s important to confirm that you need the benefits before you plunk down the cash. Non-PD devices such as smartphones, tablets, and speakers will still charge from this pack, but not any faster than they would from much less expensive standard USB battery packs.”
