A magical winter trail is opening in Wirral this Christmas with festive illuminations, Santa's Grotto and a food village.
The Winter Wonderlight trail is returning to Thornton Manor in Thornton Hough and organisers say it will be “bigger and better”. The event is set to be packed with a range of fun family adventures.
This year's trail will take visitors through the historic walled gardens at Thornton Manor with a range of festive adventures to really get in the Christmas spirit. The outdoor trail will feature different zones within the grounds, with Santa’s Elves stopping by along the way to say hello.

New for 2022, there will be a Festive Food Village with independent street food vendors offering classic festive favourites such as mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine. There will also be a fully stocked bar.
The trail will also feature Santa’s Grotto, where children can get to meet the main man himself in the run up to the big day. Set in the grounds of the walled garden, Father Christmas and his elves will be on hand to hear Christmas wishes and take a festive photo.
Tickets for the Winter Wonderlight trail and Santa’s Grotto are on sale now. You can book here .
