Scots had a chance to win a whopping £22m last night in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
The draw for the Europe-wide lottery takes place every Tuesday and Friday night, with the deadline for tickets to be purchased on 7.30pm.
Ticket holders can tune into the draw through the National Lottery website or YouTube channels at around 8.45pm on those two evenings.
The jackpot for Friday, January 21 was £21,857,937.
And while this format has not changed in a while, Scots had more chances to become overnight millionaires with a new feature being introduced to the EuroMillions this time around.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket gets entered into the automatic UK and European Millionaire Maker draw.
A total of 100 codes are generated and anyone with a matching one is handed a cash prize of €1m - which is converted into pounds and is topped up to make £1m for UK winners.
The Thunderball draw was also held by the National Lottery last night.
