Last week, we asked you to tell us about the one item you can't be without on your plate at Christmas, with a £200 shopping voucher to be won for the best answer, courtesy of safefood.
Safefood has launched its annual Trust the Meat Thermometer campaign, which aims to encourage Christmas cooks to use a meat thermometer to make sure their turkey is cooked all the way through to 75 degrees Celsius.
With almost 80% of homes expected to cook a turkey this year, a meat thermometer gives you the confidence to know that things are perfectly cooked, so you can enjoy a stress-free Christmas dinner with family and friends.
We had a fantastic response to the competition, as you came up with the full range of answers, from the traditional turkey and ham to slightly off-the-wall glazed cherries wrapped in streaky bacon and celery in white sauce. Each to his/her own!
