Winmau World Masters Draw Revealed For 2025 Darts Tournament

The 2025 Winmau World Masters draw is complete with the darts tournament kicking off on January 29th. Defending champion Stephen Bunting aims to go back-to-back in Milton Keynes, with world number one Luke Humphries facing a tough Round 1 clash against Joe Cullen.

The new-look 2025 Winmau World Masters takes centre stage in Milton Keynes from 29th January to 2nd February. As one of darts major events, who will get their hands on the trophy come Sunday, 2nd February at the Marshall Arena?

The Winmau World Masters draw is now complete, with the top 24 darts players on the PDC Order of Merit automatically qualifying for Round 1. The remaining eight places up for grabs in Round 1 will be filled by eight qualifiers from the Preliminary Round on Wednesday, 29th January.

Each set is the best of three legs, with the amount of sets required increasing every round. Each Round 1 match is a race to two sets.

There is also £500,000 in total Winmau World Masters prize money up for grabs, with the eventual winning bagging the £100,000 maximum purse.

World Masters Draw Throw Up Some Tasty Round 1 Matches

The World Masters draw, which was done on 21st January, has thrown up a few intriguing Round 1 affairs. World number one Luke Humphries faces a stern test against fellow Englishman Joe Cullen in what is probably the featured tie of the round.

Newly crowned world champion Luke Littler, Josh Rock, Dave Chisnall, Peter Wright, Rob Cross, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Gerwyn Price will all face a Round 1 tungsten tussle with one of the eight Preliminary Round qualifiers.

Two-time world champion Gary Anderson faces a tough test in UK Open champion Dimitri van den Bergh. An intriguing all-England clash between Chris Dobey and Ryan Searle is another notable Round 1 tie, as is Jonny Clayton vs Martin Schindler.

Ten-time TV title winner James Wade takes on reigning World Grand Prix champion Mike de Decker in another intriguing battle, with Michael Smith vs Danny Noppert, Damon Heta vs Ross Smith and Nathan Aspinall vs Andrew Gilding three more notable Round 1 ties.

2025 Winmau World Masters Draw

The top 24 players in the official PDC Order of Merit automatically qualify for Round 1 of the 2025 Winmau World Masters.

Numbers 25-56 on the Order of Merit enter in the preliminary last-64 round, with all remaining players starting in the preliminary round group stages.

Eight players will qualify from the preliminary round to make it into the full Round 1 main field.
