Windows smashed as East Belfast homes attacked

Police are appealing for information after a number of homes were attacked and windows smashed in East Belfast.

The incident happened on London Road shortly before 5:20pm this evening.

Officers are calling for anyone with information to come forward.

It was reported that stones were thrown at the windows (Submitted)

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police in East Belfast received a report of criminal damage at a property at London Road on Thursday 6th July.

"It was reported shortly before 5.20pm that stones had been thrown at the property breaking a number of windows.

"Enquiries into the matter are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact officers at Strandtown on 101 quoting reference number 1532 06/07/23.

"A report can be made online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at http://crimestoppers-uk.org/."
