WIN tickets to Scotland vs England in the Six Nations Calcutta Cup showdown at Murrayfield

Scotland face England at BT Murrayfield on Saturday 5 February as the 2022 Six Nations tournament gets underway.

The stage is set with the match being a complete sell-out, however you can still be there thanks to global pizza delivery brand Papa Johns, who are marking their 20th year in Scotland with a new commercial partnership with Scottish Rugby.

Record Sport Online has got our hands on two gold-dust tickets for the mouthwatering clash which we're giving away to one lucky reader.

The Six Nations is an annual rugby union competition contested between Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, France and Italy around this time every year.

Scotland defeated England 11-6 at Twickenham last year in their first victory on Auld Enemy soil in 38 years and will be eager to retain the Calcutta Cup.

Wales were crowned 2021 Six Nations champions after Scotland beat France in the final game of the Championship in Paris.

This time Scots boss Gregor Townsend has named several uncapped players in Scotland's 39-man squad for the latest ties.

Saracens back-rower Andy Christie and London Irish scrum-half Ben White are two of the new faces in the pool. While Bath centre Cameron Redpath, who enjoyed a memorable debut against England last year, has recovered from injury and will once again be in contention ahead of what's set to be a thrilling Six Nations opener.

Through the new partnership with Scottish rugby, Papa Johns will become the naming rights partner for the hugely successful ‘Tartan Touch’ programme, which has enabled people of all ages and abilities to experience an abbreviated form of rugby either as their introduction to the sport or as a fun social activity for experienced players.

Papa Johns branding will be first seen at Scotland matches played by both the men’s and women’s team during their respective 2022 Six Nations’ competitions.

Scottish Rugby’s Group Head of Commercial and Sponsorship, Toni Blackhurst said: “There has been a huge growth in the home food delivery market in recent years and as such we are delighted to secure a key player in Papa Johns for a multi-year deal as our official pizza and takeaway partner.

“Their ambition to support our community game across Scotland and specifically to be directly associated to Tartan Touch shows how attractive rugby is as a sport at a grassroots level.

Tartan Touch has been one of Scottish Rugby’s real success stories in recent years and this has enabled us to seek and secure a title sponsor in Papa Johns.”

If you would like to be in with a chance to win a pair of match tickets then simply email your full name, address and phone number and the name and email address of the guest you would like to take to Murrayfield to competitions@wcommunications.co.uk

Closing date is February 3. Usual T&Cs apply.
