Five thrillseekers are to be ‘handed the keys’ to the biggest show in the festive calendar - and you could be joining them.
The IRN-BRU Carnival is searching for five new super fans to join its ambassador programme as excitement builds for the return of Europe’s largest indoor funfair.
And Lanarkshire Live has teamed up with organisers to give an additional five pairs of tickets to five lucky readers.
Now in its third year, the ambassador programme sees five super fans gain unlimited access to one of Scotland’s longest running shows.
Ambassadors are encouraged to capture images, videos, and stories of their visits to share on the Carnival’s social media alongside their own personal channels.
Running between December 23 until January 15, 2023, the ambassadors will be welcome to attend as many times as they like and enjoy all the rides their heart desires.
As well as the new ambassadors, those appointed at last year’s IRN-BRU Carnival – who missed out on their unlimited fun due to COVID – will be re-invited to take up their positions and enjoy the same benefits as this years’ new set of super fans.
Having run for over 100 years, the Carnival remains one of Glasgow’s favourite festive traditions.
Featuring classic stalls like hook-a-duck and the dodgems alongside the latest thrill rides, generations of families have been ‘going to the Carnival’ in Glasgow for over a century.
To apply for the ambassador programme, applicants (who must be aged five or over) should submit a short video of no more than 20 seconds, telling the Carnival team why they or the person they are nominating should become an ambassador.
Entries should be sent to carnival@framecreates.co.uk or uploaded to Instagram tagging @irnbrucarnival and using #carnivalambassador before December 3.
*However, Lanarkshire Live has five pairs of tickets to give away to five lucky readers.
All you have to do to win this fantastic prize is fill in the jotform below and answer the simple question within - entries must be submitted by midnight on December 15.
