Ahead of Friday morning's Champions League quarter-final draw, Chelsea manager Graham Potter has delivered an impassioned speech to supporters. Speaking at a club event on Thursday evening, Potter, who has often been criticised for a perceived lack of personality and passion during his Stamford Bridge reign, exclaimed that him and the players will "try and win the f***ing Champions League."
The former Brighton manager is fresh from guiding his current outfit to three successive victories for the first time since mid-October. In what was deemed a crucial week in his tenure, he led Chelsea to Premier League successes against Leeds United and Leicester City, either side of progressing to the Champions League quarter-finals against Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues are now just five games away from ultimate glory in Europe's biggest club competition. The club await to discover their last-eight opponents on Friday morning, while their route to the final will also be mapped out, and Potter seemed up for the fight on the eve of the draw.

At the end of the event, the Blues boss was asked for his message to the fans, to which Potter replied: "Well firstly it's thank you because they've been incredibly fair with us. They've stuck with the team, the support we've had has been amazing and we'll need them on Saturday.
"We will try and beat Everton, take the draw and then we will try and win the F***** champions league." This rally cry was met by a chorus of laughs and cheers from the supporters in attendance, as Potter continues to win over some of the critics among the fanbase.
The draw will be available to watch on UEFA's official website for viewers to stream for free live. football.london will also be providing comprehensive coverage on the day.
The Blues are joined in the draw by fellow English side Manchester City, with the pair now able to face each other at this late stage in the competition. Completing the line-up are Bayern Munich, Benfica, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid and Napoli.
