With cost of living continuing to rise on everything from utility bills and council tax through to supermarket shops, now more than ever an unexpected bill for work on your car is a big concern. Halfords has come up with a new Motoring Club to help its customers keep their cars in tip top condition, and we've teamed up with them to give 10 lucky winners free Premium membership to the Club which gets them a free MOT and a host of other benefits. Winners will also get a £100 fuel voucher.
Halfords' Motoring Club is aimed at ensuring drivers can keep their cars in road-safe condition without breaking the bank. There are two levels of membership. Customers can sign up to the free version in store or online and get up to £35 worth of free car checks and services, including £10 off a Halfords Autocentre MOT, a £10 welcome voucher, a free 10-Point vehicle health check worth £15 and priority phone and email contact for servicing and assistance
For additional peace of mind and more comprehensive help, the Premium club membership is either £4.99 a month or £49 as a one-off annual charge per vehicle and gives customers £100 of benefits including a free MOT, two 10-Point vehicle health checks, a £10 welcome voucher, free fitting for a set of wiper blades, a pair of bulbs, or one battery, 5% off all motoring goods and services, free Next Day delivery on all orders from Halfords.com, priority booking at Halfords Autocentres and Mobile Experts and priority phone and email contact for Servicing and Assistance.
Halfords Chief Customer Officer Karen Bellairs said: “The cost of motoring in the UK is rising faster than inflation and worryingly our research has found many drivers are struggling to cope with the bills causing some to miss an MOT test.
“We know regular car maintenance is an essential part of keeping roads safe and keeping cars moving, so we're launching Halfords’ Motoring Club to help drivers reduce the cost of motoring and ensure their vehicles are roadworthy.”
