Wimbledon men's singles final: Nick Kyrgios vs Novak Djokovic: When is it, how do I watch

It is the moment of truth for Nick Kyrgios, the moment his undoubted potential has promised for so long.

The Australian firebrand is in the final of a grand slam for the first time and it's the big one, on the perfectly manicured lawns of Wimbledon.

He's up against one of the all time greats, Novak Djokovic in what is the Serb's 32nd grand slam final.

Here's everything you need to know.

Kyrgios has had a typically eventful tournament as he progressed to his first major final.

Frequently berating himself and anyone who crosses his path, the 27-year-old has bludgeoned his way through the tournament.

This most combative performance came against fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round, after which the Greek star accused Kyrgios of bullying.

Due to Rafael Nadal's withdrawal from their semi-final clash, Kyrgios has been able to put his feet up since beating  Cristian Garín in the quarter final.

Is that a good thing? From a fatigue perspective, for sure.

On the flip side, it has meant that there's been no outlet for Kyrgios' nervous energy aside from the practice court, leaving the Aussie alone with his thoughts ahead of the biggest match of his life.

Only time will tell if that's going to be an issue.

How did Novak Djokovic progress?

Novak Djokovic has had a relatively straight forward path to his eighth Wimbledon final.

Apart from, of course, his quarter final against tenth seed Jannik Sinner, where he lost the first two sets before mounting a stirring comeback.

Djokovic has also dropped sets against Kwon Soon-woo in the first round, Tim van Rijthoven in the fourth round and Cameron Norrie in the semi final.

The 35-year-old has looked far from vintage, yet is always a threat at any event he plays — not least Wimbledon, where he has won six singles titles.

Who is going to win?

Novak Djokovic has the pedigree to fall back on, but he does not have a great record against Kyrgios in their head to head matches.

In fact, Djokovic has never beaten Kyrgios in their two previous meetings.

He's never taken a set off the Australian, or even broken his serve.

Djokovic said during the week that he was not surprised that Kyrgios made the final, adding that his game made him a danger on grass.

"We always know how dangerous he is — on grass particularly — because of his game, because of his attitude on the court, being so confident, just going for it, being a very complete player," Djokovic said.

"If you see his career, the best tennis he's played is always against the top guys. That's why we all respect him, because we know what he can come up with.

"So it's also not surprise for me that he's there."

If Kyrgios can continue his phenomenal hitting in the final and not let the occasion get to him, then he could be in with a real chance of causing an upset.
