London (AFP) - Who said what at Wimbledon on Friday, the fifth day of the 2022 championships at the All England Club:

"They call it a golfer's elbow -- I got it while playing tennis."

-- Dutch wild card Tim van Rijthoven on his career-long battle with injuries.

-- Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko when asked for her thoughts on the Serbian government's refusal to impose sanctions on Russia.

"I just had my head on the floor.I had my eyes shut and I was just taking in the moment, and thanking the grass.Not for my slips, though."

-- Heather Watson after reaching the last 16 of a Slam for the first time by beating Kaja Juvan on Court 1.

"Tunisians came up with that I think one or two years ago.Funny because a minister in Tunisia comes like, Hello, Minister.It was funny, but it's nice to be called that."

-- Ons Jabeur on her nickname, 'Minister of Happiness'

"We are damn good."

-- Frances Tiafoe on eight American men having made the third round, the highest at Wimbledon since 1995.

"I had the honour to practice on the Centre Court before the tournament started, I'm not really in favour of that rule change.I never thought that anybody will have ever an opportunity to practice on the Centre Court before the defending champion walks out on Monday."

-- Novak Djokovic on the change allowing players to practice on Centre Court before the tournament starts.
