As Dysart Dynamo approached the last fence, the horse owned by Eleanor Manning was in the lead in the race at Cheltenham for the Arkle Challenge Trophy.
The tired-looking stallion, however, clipped the final obstacle and fell horribly.
Thankfully, Dysart Dynamo received medical attention having miraculously avoided injury.
The horse got back on his feet and skipped away while being held by his groom.
Looking emotional and relieved while holding on to him, Manning was wiping away tears and hugging the horse following the accident.
El Fabiolo, the pre-race favourite, eventually won the race with Jonbon coming in second.
Fans were alarmed by Dysart Dynamo's fall. However, after a betting expert predicted that he would win at Cheltenham, thousands of punters put money on him.
