William Tyrrell Inquest Hears Police Theory That Foster Mother Buried Him After Accidental Death

As the inquest into the disappearance of William Tyrrell returns for a fifth round of evidence, police have resumed the theory that the three-year-old’s foster mother unlawfully disposed of his body following his accidental death.

The story of William Tyrrell shocked Australia when the young boy went missing, seemingly without a trace. Tyrrell infamously disappeared from his foster grandmother’s home in Kendall NSW, back in September 2014.

For a decade now, theories and investigations over what happened exactly have never resulted in anyone being charged in relation to the disappearance.

However, as the inquest into the case returned on Monday, police have maintained their long-running theory that Tyrrell’s foster mother — who cannot be identified — was involved in disposing of the toddler’s body.

Detectives from Strike Force Rosann have recommended that the woman be charged. She maintains her innocence and denies the allegations brought against her.

William Tyrrell would have been 13 this year.

It is believed by police that William Tyrrell died after falling from a balcony, and was deceased upon being found by his foster mother. PEDESTRIAN.TV does not suggest the is guilty of any crime.

Counsel Assisting Gerard Craddock SC explained the NSW Police theory in a hearing today, which starts with Tyrrell’s accidental death.

“Police assert that she must have quickly resolved that if the accidental death were to be discovered, she might lose [another foster child],” Craddock stated.

He then laid out the police’s theory that the woman then moved Tyrrell’s body in her car, before calling Triple Zero. This car, and the position where police suspect the child’s body was placed, were both subjected to forensic testing.

No bones or clothing belonging to William were ever located.

This is the fifth round of inquests into Tyrrell’s disappearance, with the first beginning in March 2019.

Nobody has ever been charged in relation to the case, and a million-dollar reward for helpful information still stands.
