The Apprentice 2022 final airs tonight (March 24) at 9pm on BBC One. It will also be available on BBC iPlayer shortly after airing.
The Apprentice has been a TV favourite since it was first introduced by the BBC in 2005. When the series first started, the prize for the winner was to win a job with Lord Sugar.
However, as the series has developed over the years, the grand price has changed into £250,000 investment, as well as the chance to become Alan Sugar’s business partner with a 50:50 split.

The final two contestants for The Apprentice 2022 are Kathryn Louise Burn from Swindon, who owns an online pyjama store and dessert parlour owner, Harpreet Kaur. The two girls are in the running to win investment and a business partner in Alan Sugar to help take their business to the next level.
Will there be another season of The Apprentice and can you still apply?
The Apprentice has been renewed for a 17th season next year in 2023. If you had a business idea that you wanted to pitch to Alan Sugar and gain his investment, as well as become his business partner, unfortunately, you will have to wait a little longer as applications are now closed for the next series.
The application closing date for this was on 11.59 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022. However, when applications do reopen, you can find the application to be on the show via the show’s official website.
For series 17, applicants have to be 18 or over and legally entitled to work in the UK without restriction. On top of this, as there will be certain areas that will need to be filmed, there may also be a requirement to be vaccinated, unless you have a medical exemption to be considered for the show.
