With less than two weeks to go until Black Friday 2024 (Friday, November 29, for those of you who don't know), streaming fans are undoubtedly wondering whethere there will be a Peacock Black Friday deal like there was last year.
The Peacock Black Friday deal we saw last year was the best streaming deal of sales season, saving you loads of money on a subscription. So could NBCUniversal's TV, sport and movie streaming service offer something similar this time around? Will all the new originals on the platform like Apples Never Fall, Those About to Die and Fight Night, I hope so!
Sports fans may have flocked to Peacock over the Olympics, but if you've not yet had an opportunity to test out the streaming service, perhaps a Black Friday deal in 2024 will give you the push you need to sign up.
Based on last year, we'll probably hear more about a Peacock Black Friday deal in mid-November, and we'll update this article then. But before then, we can use precedent in order to make some predictions about what we could see.

Will there be a Black Friday deal on Peacock subscriptions?
Based on my experience covering Black Friday for the last few years, I'd say that it's pretty likely that there will be a Peacock Black Friday deal.
In the sales last year, a discount began the week prior to Black Friday which saw the cost of ad-enabled Peacock reduced from $5.99 to $1.99 per month for your first year of subscription.
In total you'd save $48 with this discount, and if you signed up last year, your discount will soon expire so a Black Friday deal on Peacock will arrive just at the right time.
Peacock hasn't confirmed whether it'll repeat its discount in 2024, or offer another one. But we'll update this article if and when that changes.
What was last year's Peacock Black Friday deal?
When could the Peacock deal begin and end for Black Friday?
Hypothetically, if Peacock does run a Black Friday deal, when would you need to sign up to make the most of it?
In 2023, the Peacock deal began on Thursday, November 23, which was the day before Black Friday itself. It was one of the later Black Friday streaming deals to begin.
If Peacock waits to release its deal until the day before Black Friday in 2024, we'll see it on Thursday, November 28.
Peacock ended its deal last year at midnight on Tuesday, November 28, which was then the day after Cyber Monday. The day after Cyber Monday 2024 would be Tuesday, December 3.
Will there be more Black Friday streaming deals?
Black Friday will bring plenty of deals across many types of device and service, and that'll certainly include streaming services, so if you've got shows to catch up on then the discounts will be very useful.
Over last year's Black Friday, as well as Peacock, we saw discounts on Hulu, Max, Paramount Plus, Fubo and Philo. Peacock was one of the better ones, but there were some even bigger discounts too.

Where will the Peacock Black Friday deal take place?
Peacock has the same pricing across all of the US, so you'll see the deal everywhere. Unlike some streamers, Peacock is only available as a stand-alone service (not through another one like a channel or add-on), so you'll get any deal through its site.
In some countries, Peacock is available via other streaming services, but any deal that gets you access will be on that platform and not on Peacock.
How much is a Peacock subscription?
Ignoring Black Friday deals, how much do you normally need to pay for Peacock?
Peacock usually has two tiers: Peacock Premium, and Peacock Premium Plus, and the main differences between the two are that the latter (mostly) doesn't have ads, and also lets you stream live NBC channels.
Peacock Premium costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 for an annual pass. Premium Plus goes for $11.99 and costs $119.99 for the annual equivalent.
Does Peacock offer a free trial?
Like most streaming services, Peacock doesn't offer a free trial to let you try before you buy.
So a Black Friday deal on Peacock subscriptions is even more important, for people who aren't too sure on paying the full fee but want to test out the streamer.
