The Traitors ended on Thursday night, and reports are suggesting that BBC bosses have already made their mind up that a second series is definitely happening..

It's been a long while since a new BBC programme has had the word of mouth impact and social media presence of The Traitors, with viewers thoroughly hooked from the minute they tuned in to the first episode. The show, fronted by Claudia Winkleman, launched during the World Cup, but even various schedule changes for the football, didn't deter fans from sticking with it, while others have been binge watching the lot on iPlayer.

After many twists and turns, including the shock banishment of fan favourite Amanda earlier this week, The Traitors final saw a huge audience set to tune into to see the Faithfuls win, after a dramatic final few minutes, which saw Wil banished right at the .death.
