The Los Angeles Rams approach free agency very strategically each year knowing they can receive extra draft picks if they manage their signings and departures the right way. Last offseason, the Rams were more aggressive on the free-agent market and as a result, it’ll cost them compensatory picks in the 2025 draft.
Over The Cap shared its final projection for compensatory picks in this year’s draft and the Rams aren’t expected to receive any additional selections. It would be their first year without any compensatory picks for free-agent losses since 2018.
The Rams will receive one special compensatory selection for the departure of Raheem Morris last offseason, just as they did in the 2024 draft; that pick will be at the end of the third round.

The two qualifying free-agent losses suffered by the Rams last offseason were Jordan Fuller and Carson Wentz, who would have netted Los Angeles seventh-round selections. But because the Rams signed Kamren Curl, Jonah Jackson and Colby Parkinson, they canceled out those picks.
The Rams have received four compensatory picks in each of the last three years and 15 total dating back 2021, so they’ve stockpiled those selections better than most other teams.
