The Cincinnati Bengals could be without starting offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. in front of Joe Burrow during the team’s Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brown suffered an injury during the team’s Week 7 win against the Cleveland Browns. And while he walked off under his own power, he didn’t return to the game.
Orlando Brown Jr. injury update
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was positive about Brown’s injury after last week’s game. The day after, he suggested Brown will be “questionable” for Week 8.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the injury as a “knee sprain.”
How long will Orlando Brown Jr. be out?
A week or more. Unless the Bengals put Brown on injured reserve, it seems they think he will be back before missing four games. Notably, there are four games between now and the Week 12 bye.
Bengals OT depth chart
LT: Orlando Brown Jr., Cody Ford
RT: Amarius Mims, Andrew Stueber
Unofficially, that’s the order. But Ford can likely play either side. The team already lost Trent Brown for the year. It recently made a roster move to add a tackle to the practice squad, at least.
