Easter is a busy time for lots of people, plus there will be extra food and Easter egg packaging filling our bins quicker than usual. It’s important to take note of when your rubbish and recycling bins are due to be collected over the Easter bank holidays.
Most councils in Wales will be collecting waste as usual but some have changed their dates for when they plan to collect your waste. With that in mind, here are all the rubbish collection arrangements from each county across Wales this Easter.

Anglesey
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Blaenau Gwent
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Bridgend
Collections will go ahead as normal on Good Friday (April 7).
If your normal collection day is Monday, April 10: Bins will be collected on Tuesday, April 11.
If your normal collection is Tuesday, April 11: Bins will be collected on Wednesday, April 12.
If your normal collection is Wednesday, April 12: Bins will be collected on Thursday, April 13.
If your normal collection is Thursday, April 13: Bins will be collected on Friday, April 14.
If your normal collection is Friday, April 14: Bins will be collected on Saturday, April 15.
Normal service resumes from Saturday, April 15.
Carmarthenshire
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Caerphilly
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Cardiff
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Ceredigion
Collections will go ahead as normal on Good Friday (April 7).
If your normal collection is Monday, April 10: Bins will be collected on Saturday, April 8. Normal services resumes from Tuesday, April 11.
Conwy
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Denbighshire
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Flintshire
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Gwynedd
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Merthyr Tydfil
There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. People are asked to present their waste as normal.
Monmouthshire

Neath Port Talbot:
Collections will go ahead as normal on Good Friday (April 7).
