Will Mellor and Ralf Little were left in awe of the venue in Newcastle that played host to their Two Pints podcast tour on Monday night.
Over a decade after Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crips, the hit TV show they both starred in, ended; Royle Family star Ralf and former Hollyoaks actor Will have been keeping the spirit of the show alive with their podcast. The show sees the lads, in their words "chat s**t," to one another about anything and everything, with them also being joined by celebrity guests including Keith Lemon.
They dedicated one instalment to the a 'watch along' of Two Pints of Lager's famous musical episode, which featured songs like Stop Thinking, Start Drinking and pastiches of Breathe by Sean Paul and Moulin Rouge smash Lady Marmalade. After proving a big streaming success, the Two Pints podcast has now become a theatre show, with Ralf and Will travelling the country to play to packed crowds in the likes of Manchester, London and Nottingham.

And, at the start of a new week for the tour, the duo landed in Newcastle city centre, to play to another capacity audience, this time at the Tyne Theatre. The Westgate Road venue is one of the city's most famous buildings and both Ralf and Will were blown away when they set foot on its stage for the first time and looked out into the auditorium.
Will filmed their reaction for Instagram as they got their first taste of the theatre, with him asking him: "Where are we Ralf?2 His partner in crime replied: "Newcastle! And it's absolutely unbelievable. Will then added: "Completely sold out. Look at this...the most beautiful theatre!" After they'd played to a full theatre, fans were quick to comment on the video, with one telling the guys: "Thank you for a wicked night in Newcastle and I have never laugh so much and I will definitely be coming to see you again and you and Ralf are legends."
A second wrote: "Absolutely hilarious. I was crying with laughter before it was 5 minutes in. You two are amazing and so funny but always Team Will for me," with a third responding: "Absolutely brilliant night was buzzing when I got the ticket for my birthday and u and Ralph didn't disappoint thanks again cracking night."
