The Kansas City Chiefs placed veteran wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown on their injured reserve list after he was hurt in the team’s first preseason game in August.
Brown has missed every regular season game during the Chiefs’ 2024 campaign, but Andy Reid gave a positive update about him this week ahead of Kansas City’s Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Will Brown be available for Sunday’s game?
Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown injury update
Brown remains on the Chiefs’ injured reserve list and has not yet returned to practice. He will not be available for Kansas City in Week 15.
How long will Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown be out?
In his comments to the media this week, head coach Andy Reid said:
“He’s (Hollywood Brown) getting close. He’s chomping at the bit to get back out there but he’s got to visit with the doctors and make sure he gets clearance there, but I think, I’d probably say he’s getting close. I can’t give you a date – I don’t know a date on it, but he says he feels great.”
Expect to hear more about Brown in the coming weeks as the Chiefs make their push toward the playoffs.
