Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman will contend with the Fighting Irish for the College Football Playoff national championship on Monday night.
However, is the NFL in his future?
Well, Freeman recently brushed off the possibility of coaching in the pros despite the rumor of interest from the Chicago Bears last month.
“I have given zero thought to the NFL. All of my attention has been on getting this team ready for the game,” Freeman said, per On3’s Ari Wasserman.
We’ll see how long Freeman stays at the college level, as a national title win would make him an even more attractive candidate for NFL teams.
