Will Luke Littler Win Back-To-Back Bahrain Darts Masters Titles?

Following his historic win at the 2025 World Darts Championship a fortnight ago, Luke Littler is back in action at the Bahrain Darts Masters this week. The 17-year-old aims to defend his crown, with the majority of the darting world backing ‘The Nuke’ to win back-to-back titles in the Middle East.

Darts expert Josh Pearson is expecting Littler to do just that, winning the Bahrain Darts Masters for a second successive year.

Will Luke Littler Win Back-To-Back Bahrain Darts Masters Titles?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past twelve months, you’ll know it’s been whirlwind of a year on the PDC circuit for a certain Luke Littler. Not only has he took to life on the tour like a duck to water but he’s well on his way to breaking many different records along the way too.

I couldn’t even imagine what I was getting up to at just seventeen years of age but this lad is currently standing on top of the darting world after winning his first World Championship at Ally Pally earlier this month. After a short break it’s back to work for Luke and his fellow professionals as the PDC season is officially underway for another year!

Bahrain is the first stop and its World Series action for Littler and co. Although this is only the third time the event has been held here after its inaugural year back in 2023, the Warrington wonderkid is hoping to go back-to-back after blowing away the rest of the competition on his way to lifting the trophy last year.

He famously became the youngest ever player to hit a nine-dart finish in a televised game just two days before his 17th birthday, in his quarter-final win against Nathan Aspinall.

Josh Pearson Backs ‘The Nuke’ To Claim Second Successive Bahrain Masters Crown

The line-up for this event as always in the World Series of Darts is made up of eight PDC representatives and eight Asian representatives that are chosen through player picks and host nation qualifiers.

There has been a bit of backlash with the PDC line-up because bar one player (Peter Wright for Michael van Gerwen), it is pretty much the 2025 Premier League line-up.

I personally don’t have a problem with that as I just want to enjoy watching the best players play darts. However, a few new faces would have been a refreshing change too, you can’t please everybody though!

You would be silly to back against Littler from retaining the Bahrain Masters trophy with the form that he has been in heading into the tournament. But, as we all know darts can be very unpredictable!

But saying that, Luke Littler goes back-to-back in Bahrain for me.
