Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be free to conduct his usual managerial duties from the Anfield touchline against West Ham United tonight - despite being sent off against Manchester City on Sunday.
The German was dismissed with four minutes remaining at Anfield after he berated assistant referee Gary Beswick, who had failed to award a free kick to Mohamed Salah when he was dragged to the ground by City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
As the Citizens regained possession and subsequently launched a counter-attack, with the Reds leading 1-0, Klopp stepped onto the touchline and launched an irate reaction in the direction of Beswick. Referee Anthony Taylor immediately halted the game and brandished a red card in the direction of the Liverpool manager.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, Klopp admitted he was in the wrong for berating the assistant referee Beswick. He said: "I still think I should have dealt with the situation differently, which I usually do. It was an intense game that both managers didn't understand with some calls. I am not happy with my reaction."
And later that evening the Reds boss was formally charged by the Football Association for breaching rule E3 and has been given until Friday to provide a response. This means the Liverpool manager will be on the sidelines for this evening's clash against David Moyes' side but will most likely - if found in breach of ruling E3 in the subsequent days - begin to serve any suspension starting from the match against Nottingham Forest.
If a verdict is not reached in time for the Reds' 12:30 kick-off at the City Ground on Saturday, any disciplinary action could commence when Leeds United visit Anfield the following week.
