Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown signed a $304 million, five-season supermax contract extension with the Celtics this offseason. His potential for winning a title alongside fellow All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum could very well decide whether he remains with Boston in the longer term.
The Celtics hope this combination of two superstar players will work in the long term. However, there are concerns about the massive contracts for the two star players with Tatum also qualifying for a supermax, and their impact on role players in the league teams like Boston will need to find a way to surround them with.
