The cost of living continues to put a pinch on households around the country. From food and clothing costs to energy bills - many are feeling the crunch.
The Government has introduced various measures over the last year to help households, such as the €200 energy credits, however, many are wondering if they will receive another energy credit as bills keep hitting people hard.
While a new credit has not been announced officially, last month Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was asked by Miriam O' Callaghan on RTÉ Prime Time, "Could there be another energy credit, later this year?"

The Taoiseach replied: "Ya that's a possibility. The way we would fund that would be through the windfall tax on the profits of the energy companies.
"That's something that we can reinstate in the winter if the prices don't come down."
While there are no more electricity credits confirmed for now, those in receipt of social welfare can expect a handy cash boost in a few weeks.
The much-anticipated spring cost of the living package, worth a nice €200, will top off those receiving social welfare this April, meaning that as well as their normal social welfare payment they will also receive extra cash.
Generally, the cash boost is paid out to people who are in receipt of the Christmas bonus, as well as those on Working Family Payment.
According to the Department of Social Protection, those who are eligible for the payment will receive it on the week of April 24.
Speaking to RSVP Live, the department explained: "The April cost of living payment is due to issue in the week commencing April 24. This will be issued along with a customer’s main qualifying payment in this week."
Last month the department clarified to the publication that the payment will be handed out to: “people in receipt of long-term social welfare payments. This will be paid to the primary recipients of the payments that receive the Christmas Bonus.”
