Will Fish has returned to Hibs on loan from Manchester United.
The centre-back, 20, has signed a season-long switch back to the Easter Road side.
However, there is a review clause in the deal set for January 2024, where the defender could return to Old Trafford.
Fish joined Hibs for the second half of last season playing 21 times, scoring on three occasions and becoming a popular member of the squad.
On the signing, Hibs boss Lee Johnson said: “We’re delighted to get this deal over the line and bring Will back to the Club.
“During his first season with us he showed that he is a player with real quality, and he adds composure and consistency to our back-line.
“Everyone at the Club is looking forward to working with Will again and having him around the building.”
A club statement read: "We’re delighted to announce that Will Fish has returned to Hibernian FC on loan from Manchester United!
"The 20-year-old joins us on a season-long loan, with a review in January 2024.
"The centre-half shone for the Hibees during the second half of last season going on to make 21 appearances for the Club, forming a formidable partnership with Club Captain Paul Hanlon in the heart of defence.
"A solid defender, Fish also chipped in with three goals becoming a threat from set pieces.
"To prepare for the new campaign, the youngster has been training with Manchester United’s First Team under the guidance of Erik ten Hag."
