Will Colts’ WR Michael Pittman play against the Dolphins?

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman is on track to play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Pittman is listed as questionable on the final injury report and will suit up as long as he doesn’t have any setbacks, according to The Athletic’s James Boyd.

Pittman appeared on the injury report last week with a back injury, one that reportedly could have sidelined him for multiple weeks and even landed Pittman on injured reserve.

However, Pittman has decided to push through and as long as he feels good, he plans to be available.

Pittman did not practice on Wednesday or Friday of this week but was a full participant on Thursday. More than likely, the Colts want to make sure they give him ample time to rest the injury so he can be good to go on Sundays.

Even while dealing with the injury, as he does, Pittman came up big against the Tennessee Titans, totaling three receptions for 35 yards. One of those catches was a jump ball for a touchdown, and the other converted a first down late, allowing the Colts to bleed more time off the clock.

On the season, Pittman has caught 25-of-39 passes for 273 yards and two scores.

While the plan is to continue playing, from the sounds of it, everything is very fluid right now, with Pittman and the Colts taking it all day by day. But as already mentioned, if he’s feeling good, the plan is to play.

“We did consider every single option,” Pittman said last week about the injury via ESPN. “And, honestly, [injured reserve] is still not off the table. But as long as I’m feeling, like, good and I can go out there and win routes, then I’ll be out there.”
