Will Arch Manning play for Texas vs. Ohio State? Here’s what we know.

Arch Manning has seen some action for Texas this season, with Eli and Peyton’s nephew showing off with some intriguing moments on the field.

So with the Longhorns playing against Ohio State on Friday, with the winner going to the college football championship game against Notre Dame, the question is: will he play? Or will Quinn Ewers be taking snaps under center in this game as he’s done most the season?

The answer is: it’s Ewers who will be the starter. Manning has been used in specific packages for Texas’ offense — primarily to run the ball — but he remains QB2. Unless he gets injured, Ewers will play the majority of snaps for the Longhorns.
