Wilko brings back popular half price pick and mix deal - but for limited time only

High-street retailer Wilko has announced that it has slashed the prices across its popular pick and mix sweets in time for the Easter weekend.

The retailer took to social media to confirm that fans can pick up any sized tub of sweets for 50% less, but the offer will only be around for a limited time only.

Wilko's half price sweets deal is usually a huge hit during the holidays, as families can treat their little ones to some sweets during the holidays.

Tubs of sweets from the retailer can set you back between £2 - £4, depending on the size that you pick up.

For a limited time only shoppers will be able to grab a small for £1 (down from £2), a medium tub for £1.50 (down from £3) and a large for £2 (down from £4.)

Wilko confirmed on Facebook that shoppers have a week to take advantage of the incredibly sweet deal which will end on Tuesday, April 19.

The retailer captioned the post: "Let’s treat the kids this Easter holiday with half price Pick & Mix, available 8th - 19th April. Which is your favourite sweet? Vote below to let us know!"

The deal was met with applause from shoppers, who couldn't wait to get their hands on a tub of sweets for half price.

"All of them I'm like a child myself when it comes to buying children's sweets x", exclaimed one shopper.

"Its back!!!!", commented a second.

"Yesssssssssssssssssssss be going for one very soon xx", said a third.

Scots shoppers will be able to shop the half price pick and mix deal at any Wilko store across the country.

Shoppers simply need to head to their local Wilko's pick and mix station, where they can fill up their chosen sized tub with all of their favourite sweets.

The discount will be automatically applied when you are at the checkout.

Wilko's pick and mix deal is available in-stores now until Tuesday, April 19.
