Wilfried Gnonto's 'embarrassing' admission as Leeds United star continues to settle in England

Wilfried Gnonto may be driving opposition full-backs crazy with his extraordinary skillset, but the teenager is yet to hit the road.

Instead, the Italian international still receives a lift from his dad to the training ground, which Gnonto admits is a 'little bit embarrassing', but he is pressing ahead with the theory test.

"It's a little bit embarrassing to be honest," Gnonto joked in an interview with BBC Sport. "No [I haven't started any driving lessons]. I've just received my provisional license.

"Come on, you have to drive. I think, if I study, in two or three weeks I could do it already [pass my theory test]. I just study, give everything and then I'm done."

Gnonto has proven to be a shrewd purchase for Leeds. The winger arrived on transfer deadline day in September, and has impressed since being handed his Premier League debut several weeks later.

He played a part in Crysencio Summerville's winning goal at Anfield, before teeing up the Dutchman to score another dramatic winner against AFC Bournemouth the following week.

The youngster has scored four goals since the turn of the year for the Whites, including a memorable scissor kick in the 5-2 victory over Cardiff City in the FA Cup in January.
