Families can go on wildlife spotting cruises on the River Mersey this summer.
Mersey Ferries and the RSPB are bringing back the Bird Watching and Wildlife Cruise from July 16 to September 11. People will set sail along the river and out into the Liverpool Bay and hopefully spot a few of the local inhabitants up close along the way.
Previous sightings have included long-tailed skuas, peregrine falcons, osprey, and Atlantic grey seals. There will be experts on board to provide live commentary and answer questions.
