The owners of Wigan Athletic have agreed to sell the League One club.
The football club have been owned by a a consortium led by Bahraini businessman Abdulrahman Al-Jasmi since they were rescued from administration in March 2021.
The Latics had been in administration since July 2020. The sale to Phoenix 2021 Ltd, owned by Al-Jasmi, came after a deal with a Spanish consortium collapsed at the start of January 2021.

The identity of the new buyer has not been revealed by the club.
Wigan will start the 2023/24 League One season on minus eight points after twice failing to pay wages on time.
In a statement posted on the club's website said: "A deal has been agreed in principle for the sale of Wigan Athletic Football Club to a prospective new buyer - subject to EFL approval.
"The prospective new owners have committed to resolving all outstanding liabilities at the earliest opportunity.
"Further updates on this process will follow in due course."
BusinessLive recently reported that Wigan's turnover totalled £8.3m for the 12 months to June 30, 2022, while they made a pre-tax loss of £7.6m.
The club received £2.2m through match day and season ticket sales while £1.1m was generated from commercial and sponsorship activities. Salary costs for staff and players totalled £13m.
During the year Wigan generated a £2.8m profit from selling players.
